PARKING LOT CONTROL DRIVING CLASSES

(The charge for a 2-hour class is $145.)

No one achieves excellence in anything without being accurately taught the basics and practicing to master and consistently apply them.

Students who are allowed to drive on the road without proper preparation and training are deceived into believing they are kings and queens of the road. This false sense of accomplishment makes them rude, reckless, and dangerous.

Our students must achieve a level of control before they are allowed to drive on the road.

Our Drills Build Skills:

SKILLS ELEMENTS
CONCENTRATION CONTROLS SELF (anger, fear, worry)
PRECISION CONTROLS VEHICLE (operation)
TIMING CONTROLS SPEED (conditions)
AWARENESS CONTROLS SPACE (360 degrees)

Our drills are sequential with basic and advanced versions:

  1. Seating – seat height, depth position, 10-2 hand, shoulders, mirrors
  2. Steering – 10/2 hand, hand-over-hand, left, right, center, hold, accelerate & release
  3. Reverse – left-hand center, hazards, soft brake, rear view, left & right banks, straight wheels
  4. Parking – blinkers, opposite & same-side, center, point of turn, hand-over-hand, pivot exits
  5. Backing-in-Parking – shoulder point, pivot, mirror center, depth, pivot, straight wheels
  6. Figure 8 – hand-over-hand left & right, radius, angle, center, acceleration, velocity
  7. Parallel Parking – 3-point / 22” approach / pole-up / 38⸰ angle / pivots / corrections / U-turn exits

Under our teaching, anyone can learn to use their brain to become a skillful driver.
